This year, after a 2 year pause, we will have our MAEGA Awards reception on June 6th at San Dieguito Academy, 6 pm.

We are so very happy to report 37 high school seniors were awarded MAEGA scholarships. Additionally, 21 alumni now entering their second year of college, were awarded renewal scholarships thanks to all of our wonderful donors. WE ARE GRATEFUL TO ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!

The mission of MAEGA is to promote education beyond high school for San Dieguito Union High School District students of Latino heritage by providing one year scholarships, which may be renewable if funds allow. Scholarships are awarded to deserving Latino high school seniors demonstrating financial need and who will be attending certified vocational schools, community colleges, and universities.

MAEGA is well-established in our community and has provided over $1.8 million in scholarships during the past 50 years! MAEGA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation comprised of an all-volunteer board.
